It is now coming up to the end of another Financial Year and one I’m sure we are all ready to be over with. We know this can be a really stressful time for many but with the right resources, it doesn’t have to be

Now that we have the business side out of the way, let’s talk Behind The Scenes of Superior Accounting Group working from home and oh, how it has been an interesting time. We have had our challenges working from home but we always manage to find the brighter side of them and have a good laugh.

Every Monday morning we have a Zoom call to catch up on everyone’s workload and what they have on which runs smoothly until it is our intern Mike’s turn …

Without a doubt every single week Mike tries to talk to us all with his mic muted and after all of us telling him to unmute and a good laugh later, he figures it out. He has managed to have a good conversation with himself while we have had a good laugh and somehow never seems to learn, this always brightens our Monday mornings.

We, of course, can’t leave out the big boss Adrian’s funny mistakes now, can we? Hmm, let’s see how about that time Adrian made a client in a zoom call connect to his empty room at work to talk to his lovely desk chair.

Or maybe that time he was so delirious he started talking away to a client and realised he was, in fact, talking to a different client to the one he thought he was talking to and had to backtrack a good 5 minutes.

Let’s just say our office has been interesting since working at home and the funny moments in it all keeps us going.

REMINDER: to all clients who we don’t do bookkeeping for, it is crucial to lodge your monthly Jobkeeper declarations as soon as possible after the end of each month as no Jobkkeeper money is triggered from the ATO until they are lodged.

During these tough times, we thought what better way to give you all a laugh as we put Adrian through the test of 25 interesting and difficult questions about himself and those fun conversation starters. This is a definite watch if you ask us!!
